Cloth physics?

Is it planned, at a very later date, of course, physics cloth support for real capes?

It's not particularly likely; there's not really a good way to fix all the existing content to use cloth physics, and in the end you might see more issues in terms of certain items using cloth physics while others don't creating a disconnect (basically, if you're not going to have something everywhere it can be best to never have it).

Now, the engine will almost certainly be capable of supporting cloth at a certain level, because of OGRE and Bullet, but you likely won't see it in conjunction with vanilla Morrowind content.

well, vanilla content was not particularly considered: I was mostly thinking about custom content which adds capes and whatnot. even mine, depending on how skilled I am :P

More in general, is there a physics\ragdoll system in OpenMW?
