Ubuntu Jammy 0.49 does not work after apt-get update.

Hi,

I had OpenMW installed by following these instructions here: https://launchpad.net/~openmw/+archive/ ... enmw-daily and things were pretty smooth.

Recently I have not been able to run the game. It will freeze at the menu screen, not allowing me to open my saves. If I downgrade I cannot use my saves, so I ignored that route.

I usually do a apt-get upgrade once a week. Since then I cannot load my saves.

When I run the Installation wizard I get, Error reading OpenMW configuration files at the end of the setup.
When I run openmw I get a black screen with choppy audio.

I'm not sure about the configuration files. I've deleted the config folders as well but no luck.
Any ideas?

Known issue with mygui 3.4.2 packages we are testing. You can still load your games, but you'll not have visibility... so you can hit load, hit enter and boom, you're in your game.

I was pointed to this version by a peer on here, when I first started the game. Now I'm trying to decide if I should keep chugging along, or revert to an older version for stability sake.

Good news, if I build locally... it "just works", so there is something really wrong during the build on launchpad (ppa) that is botching things up.

Still need to triage this. I'm hoping to have something by this weekend.

That's the file that has given me so much trouble when I tried to compile the dang thing. There was a different version installed on my system and it complained all night that it couldn't install that file.

I should have said something earlier.

Great news! Can't wait to try it tonight when I get home.
