Installing Mods on macos M1

Hello!

I am for some time now trying to figure out how to install mods to OPENMW on my macos with M1.
I saw many people just putting files into folders, but I can't find any folder to put files on. I find only a "Content" folder by right-clicking on OpenMW and "Show Package Content". My Morrowind installation is on Documents, and I installed OPENMW on my Applications.

Could someone make a plain and simple step to step explanation on where and what folders I should create if I don't have them, and how to put the mods properly in the game?

Thanks :D

If you want to install just a couple of mods, the launcher is enough:
You have a "Data files" tab where you can add the directories where you've extracted your mods, then you should activate the "esp" in another subtab and the "bsa" in another one. This method also allows to set you load order.

(It works for everything except core shaders and (non-lua) interface replacement.

If you want to install more mods, it is better to use the link above, in such case, you should know that your "openmw.cfg" file is located in "~/Library/preferences/openmw". The "Library" folder is hidden by default, but there are methods which allows to shows it (e.g. https://www.lifewire.com/os-x-is-hiding ... er-2260833)
