Combat Swing Binds

Hello all.

I grew up playing Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. It redefined melee combat games with its swing manipulation mechanics and overall atmosphere. Morrowind was far from that vision with only basic swing mechanics. Earlier today as I was playing OpenMW, I was looking at Always Use Best Attack and thought maybe there could be a way to create binds for slashing, chopping, and thrusting. Perhaps Always Use Best Attack can branch into Always Use Second Best Attack or Always Use Third Best Attack? That might clutter the controls interface. Something other than strafing and Daggerfall controls.

Since this project uses LUA, is there a way to add additional binds to the game? If so, instead of moving in a certain direction to perform different attacks, could there be binds for those? Thanks.
