Cave Textures Not Loading When Water Shader is On

hi!

I'm running OpenMW on a late 2013 macbook and everything works well, unless I have the water shader turned on. With both the OpenMW and a different downloaded water, when I enter a cave (sometimes), the game will take a long time to load and then load everything without textures. This affects everything until i leave the cave, then it just affects rocks and such and not the ground. This never happens when the water shader is turned off. It only resolves if I restart the game. It's pretty inconsistent, but there are a few places such as the deep ore passage in a Dwemer ruin that will not load no matter what if the shader is on. Pretty sure it happens when theres water in the cave.

I looked at my log but there wasn't any errors so I dunno what's going on. Thanks for any advice!

Likely crappy OpenGL driver from Apple that is making things wonky on the shader side of things.
