Still need to manually edit openmw.cfg for mod paths?

I believe it's still the case (https://openmw.readthedocs.io/en/latest ... stall.html) that mod folder paths must be manually input within openmw.cfg at the end of the file (e.g. from my own .cfg: "data="C:\Games\OpenMW\OpenMW Mods\Patch For Purists"") rather than being fully addressed through the launcher. Is this (https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/issues/6620) and/or another currently tracked issue(s) going to address this basic functionality, or if not, is there any estimate of when this process will be made automatic/transparent through the launcher rather than requiring the user to manually edit the .cfg in order for mods to load? It still needs doing either manually or via a mod manager (e.g. Portmod or the MO2 plugin). It ending up in the launcher is reliant on someone who's good at GUIs wanting to do it. https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/merge_requests/192 did a lot of the work, but was never finished.

I just saw in the news post this is now merged - awesome!! Major thanks to fr3dz10 and the team.
