First of all, I've been following this guide faithfully: https://modding-openmw.com/mods/daedric ... d-edition/

I followed the instructions on how to supposedly fix the shiny armor: https://modding-openmw.com/tips/shiny-meshes/

I tried this supposed patch too: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45405

Nothing works. No matter what I do the 'shiny' bug persists. I need something beyond the help suggested in those links.

The shiny effect above is apparently connected to enchanting the armor. I have no idea why, but only enchanted daedric lord meshes look shiny to me.

Can you upload your openmw.log? There's a chance something weird's going on, and it should show up in there if it does.
