I think that implementing the feature added by the Continue mod would be a great addition to OpenMW. If this and Right-Click Menu Exit were implemented, I'd be completely sold on OpenMW.

That's something which could be implemented as a general feature in OpenMW if you ask me. If not, Lua mods can take care of it.

This looks more like Lua territory to me: we don't know what other functionality might be assigned to mouse button clicks by mods in the future, so better leave it up to them.

Just press ENTER twice in the main menu and OpenMW will load a last save.

What's wrong with ESC button to make an engine-side replacement?

An additional tweaking can be done later via mods.
