I'd like to know if there's any mod for bigger/ clearer text letters, as they are too small.
I know I can lower the resolution, but was wondering if there was another way.

You can change the GUI scaling to make text (and game windows) appear bigger in your settings.cfg file with the option where x is how many times bigger the windows will be (I recommend trying 1.5 and then adjusting from there if need be).
You will probably want to replace the font as well, as it will be quite blurry otherwise.

I would like to inform people that this fix is now obsolete as openMW now has that setting available on the advanced settings of its launcher.
Advanced -> interface -> GUI scaling factor

It's the same fix, just there's a GUI for it, too. Plenty of people still prefer editing config files to using a GUI, so the information here isn't obsolete, just not necessarily the most convenient way for everyone to do it.
