Installation from retail GOTY DVD

Hi,

I'm on Windows 10 x64 and, when attempting to install the game from my old GOTY DVD via the wizard, I noticed that the option "Retail CD/DVD" is greyed out. I can install it manually then import the files using the wizard, which works, but I'd like to prevent library clutter as much as possible.

I couldn't find any reported bugs on this matter or forum posts, but managed to find this and this, pretty much pointing that installation from Retail CD/DVD is disabled for Windows.

Is this something that is on the roadmap? Are there any blockers, like lack of win-specific libraries or smth?

No one's ever bothered getting innoextract hooked up to Windows builds. It's always been a lower priority as it's not too hard just to install the disk normally.
