Is there any chance of restoring ranged sneak attack damage as it was in the original game (1.5x damage rather than 4x), at least as an option? For someone who likes to play stealthy archers the increased damage eliminates a lot of what challenge there was in the game, as most enemies can be one-shot killed or close to it without getting close enough to even risk being detected.
In the original, 1.5x was a plus but not overwhelming, and melee sneak attacks still had a role because the 4x damage was balanced by the difficulty of getting close enough without being noticed. I understand that the damage was implemented in a strange way in the original game, using an irrelevant-seeming game setting or constant, but the result worked well in play.
