Is this already implemented or planned? I find no mentions of it on the issue tracker.

Currently it appears each plugin edit will show as a separate entry. For example, when loading Morrowind.esm and Tribunal.esm there are two entries for script Chargen_ring_keley.

Record merging is fully implemented, except for record types that are not supported at all yet (obviously) and anything related to dialogues. Anything else that isn't properly merging is a bug.
