I think the idea behind the thread is that "right now" is literally at the instant you post, not during this general period of your life.

I thought the idea behind these threads was to be able to either (1) bump your postcount without breaking forum rules or (2) pimp your taste in music which nobody will look at because they simply don't care?

I discovered a couple musical pearls in thread like this one.

Just today, I discovered Hans Zimmer that way (a film music composer), and learned that the composer of Baldur's Gate soundtrack has been part of Agitation Free (a very good progressive rock band) and Tangerine Dream (another one).
