Let's release now, we've had quite extensive testing.
@Ghills: According to folks on IRC the openmw installer is not supposed to install directx, so you'll have to install it separately.
OpenMW 0.16.0
Re: OpenMW 0.16.0
Okay then. Tagged. Release, please.
Re: OpenMW 0.16.0
The game starts alright from the launcher now (RC5, Windows), but I have a graphical issue I can't get rid of. If I choose Direct3d many objects are black, people, some rocks etc.
This is what I've tried:
- Reinstalling my drivers. Got an Nvidia GTX460.
- Removing any trace of OpenMW/Morrowind and reinstalling them.
- Testing both 32-bit and 64-bit.
Reinstalling 0.15 did however fix the problem, so I'm guessing the problem is something with 0.16.

Re: OpenMW 0.16.0
known issue, will be fixed in 0.17
Re: OpenMW 0.16.0
Known issue. Use OpenGL or disable shaders under [Objects] in the config file if you want to use Direct3d.
By the way, I'm about to cut a video together. Forgive the delay, crazy storm knocked out my power and internet for a while.
Question. Does "teleport door" just mean a door that loads to another cell or does it have a more specific meaning?

Re: OpenMW 0.16.0
Yes. It doesn't have to be another cell (for example some trap doors teleport you underneath in the same cell), but most of them lead to another cell.WeirdSexy wrote: Question. Does "teleport door" just mean a door that loads to another cell

Got it!
I'm guessing that the stuttering you see when moving while looking at water is a known issue as well? I think it's the sky that stutters when reflecting.
