It seems we need the formula for health and mana restore during sleeping/waiting. IIRC mana does not restore automatically and during waiting neither does health. Do we have anything for health while sleeping?

Mana does restore, but only if you do not suffer from the magic effect "Burns mana" (or similiar, don't remember the name) which you have if you are born under Atronarch. Waiting restores nothing, yes.

Added resting. The same function has application to all mechanics that cause time to pass, such as training and travelling.

intelligence and endurance in the formula are modified (i.e. with fortify attribute bonuses applied), correct?

Yes. It's modified stats by default, base stats if it starts with 'base'. I'll make it clearer on the Research front page.
