I've updated the PPA to have libboost 1.55 and libbullet 2.81 for Precise.
Trusty uses libboost 1.54, which I hope is "ok".
Keep an eye on the travis builds and the ppa daily builds to make sure everything is building correctly with these new releases.

scratch that, the libboost is a mess... they use versioned releases and it is proving to be difficult to remove that mess. disabling for now.
