Mod compatibility checking tools

Post by lono456 »

I am trying to play Children of Night part1.
The first combat at Seyda Neen doesn't work at all.

Because the author writes the following in the greeting dialog result:
ZZ_Bandit4->StartCombat ZZ_Mitas, ZZ_Bana
StartCombat takes only one parameter, so it does not work

But the code works for Morrowind, and it passes "Error Check Results" in Construction Set.
I believe it will not pass "Error Check Results" in openmw-cs. But I cannot find the button in openmw-cs.
What kind of tool does openmw team use to check the dialog result?

I think you may be looking for 'Verify' located under 'File' in the toolbar. It lists errors, warnings, missing icons and the like.

Referenced here in the CS manual.

I hope that helps.

I see. It is a bug in openmw-cs

The error does not appear in openmw-cs verify, but it appears as an error in openmw.log
