How to stop the dialogue window from resetting position when using controller?

Scrolling with the right stick and then using the left stick to move cursor makes the bar reset position. Same happens in inventory screens

yeah I have morrowind code patch for the vanilla install of morrowind, and it fixed that by having the persuasion menu not move and you can keep pressing bribe etc until you are done and close it yourself.. anyone can point us to a mod that fixes this for us like they did in MCP which is the alltime top mod for Morrowind millions of downloads but it doesn't work in openmw OpenMw works way too good to go back to running from the original game for me, but that one feature was so good and convenient I've been looking for days for similar fix plz help
