Differences between 'Delete Record' and 'Extended delete Record'

Greetings.

I have a question: If one wants to delete a cell in OpenMW-CS, there is a menu 'Delete Cell' and a menu 'Extendet delete Cell'. I would ask if someone of you can tell me what are the differences between this two options¿
