Openmw Shield TV water reflection

Hi !

Excuse me to disturb you,

I don't find solution, i hope you would help me..

I install Openmw and Morrowind on my NVIDIA Shield TV.

All work fine.

FPS ok, etc...

BUT,

When i look water, i don't sera any reflection..

Just look like that:

I change option, but non result, or just black or blue water.

I reminber it's possible to activate reflection, like on PC.

I've done it in the past (always on Shield TV), maybe by tweaking or modify .ini, or with a mod?

But i don't reminber how i made it...

Could you please help me?

That's the default water, not the shader-based water. Only the shader-based water has reflections. If you've got a settings menu or access to settings.cfg, look for settings related to the water shader. I don't know if it's a thing in our Android builds, though.

As for getting stuff working as well as possible, the Shield TV supports regular desktop OpenGL instead of just GLES like most phones and tablets. Most Android builds available use GL4ES to translate between OpenGL and GLES, but it's not perfect, so you'll probably get a higher framerate and experience fewer bugs if you can convince someone to build you a version that targets regular OpenGL directly.

We don't count downgrading versions as a fix. If something used to work and now it doesn't, that's a pretty major problem.

I Come back because i don't understand the problem.

Shaders worked naturally very well with 0.46.0.18 version (2020).

This version doesn't work anymore because Android 11.

Today i try last version (0.46.40) the game crashes when i start, on my two Shield.

0.46.38 version works well (only this one, and nightly don't work).

BUT, shaders don't work and no réflection in water...

Do you know what Can i do?

By using gles 1.1.2 with 0.48 version,

By my request,

Chikcit, openmw modder from 4PDA, solve the problem.

He released me a 0.47 version based on gles 1.1.2 (instead of 1.1.3),

And all works perfectly now.
