[Solved] Using morrowind savegame in openMW

Sorry, I am not sure, is this the right forum for this question.
But, is there any way to convert Morrowind GOTY savegame to openMW save game, to use and continue playing game from Morrowind in Open Morrowind?
If I understand this, openMW has absoutely different savegame format as morrowind.

You understood it correctly. Save formats are different.

There's a tool provided by OpenMW called "essimporter" that you can use to convert a Vanilla saved game to an OpenMW saved game.

I haven't used it, and so won't guarantee that i will work for everything, but it's certainly worth trying.
