Re: Android part 2
When I switch from Glesv1 to Glesv2 the textures get placed all wrong and I get random boxes of terrain textures that are just out of place.

Are the saves compatible with pc version of openmw? I'd like to play on PC when I'm home and on my phone when I'm on the road.

Quick question:
I apologize if this is not the right place to post this. When we install new apk versions do we uninstall the previous one first or just install the new version on top of it? I am using file explorer on android. Also do we keep the original open mw file on the tablet? One more question, what is the difference between mainline and the mwforked version? Thanks so much for this project... Insane to think I can play my favorite game of all time on my tablet.

They should be compatible.FlyingEagle wrote: ↑28 Mar 2019, 18:14 Are the saves compatible with pc version of openmw? I'd like to play on PC when I'm home and on my phone when I'm on the road.
You should install it on top, if you uninstall you'll lose the savedata. Not sure what you mean by the second question. The mainline version of OSG is the official OpenSceneGraph release and the forked is OpenMW fork which is supposed to be faster, but in practice the mainline has less issues.Tecumseh1976 wrote: ↑30 Mar 2019, 11:54 Quick question:

Re: Android part 2
With the latest apk any time I do a quick save or go into a new cell it shows a loading screen briefly, the prior version just showed the quick save bar at the bottom of the screen. Is this something I can change in the settings?
Re: Android part 2
No, it's not configurable. It's an issue in how loading screen is implemented combined with how I've patched it out.Tecumseh1976 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2019, 12:24 With the latest apk any time I do a quick save or go into a new cell it shows a loading screen briefly, the prior version just showed the quick save bar at the bottom of the screen. Does anyone have any suggestions on a step I might be missing? Below are the changes I am trying to make based on a youtube tutorial. Thanks to anyone that can help.
