Is everyone waiting for Zini to come back from his break to give the go ahead on the release or are there still blockers remaining?

1. Zini must reappear ASAP.
2. A few major regression fixes need to be reviewed for inclusion.
3. raevol is waiting for Atahualpa to finish working on the release videos.
4. I'm waiting for Atahualpa to proofread the changelog.
5. I'm concerned about a few other things, but that's it for now.

Every time I have to step away for a bit I come back and it seems like I didn't miss much... that's both good and bad I guess. :( Capostrophic, thank you for holding it down for me.

I need to catch up on the rest of the forums.

Right... hot-fixes are in, new round of RC builds please.

Please use the openmw-45 branch (on gitlab or github, doesn't matter, same)

For everyone wondering what's going on:

We internally decided to squash in several fixes to problems introduced by 0.45.0 changes. Nothing too drastic, but RCs - of course - need to be rebuilt and tested.

Built up some new Windows RCs then;

32-bit
64-bit

(The timing was nice too, just got back home from after DevConf.cz+FOSDEM+CfgMgmtCamp)

Sadly the FOSDEM weekend was about as fully booked as possible, so I didn't even try to do anything more than run around on the conferences. Actually spent the Friday night hacking together slides for my talk at CfgMgmtCamp even after being dragged off to drink with the ManageIQ team.

(Doesn't help that on Thursday I was still in Brno, Czech Republic)

Just ran Windows 64 bit build.

Two things I just can't remember if it's normal or not:
  • The licence box in the installer contains nothing except for info about the installer wizard. Should it contain the GPL info or is this how it has always been?
  • It still says OpenMW development in the launcher, but I can't remember if that is changed later when the release build is made or not.
Otherwise, it seems to work fine for me. Ran around from Pelagiad to Balmora.

1. It's how it has always been.
2. Ace explained in the past that it is intentional. RCs are not straight-up release builds.
