Newb Question: Editing Interior Cells

Post by EFreya »

Not entirely sure what happened to the previous topic I tried to post, but here goes.

I'm creating a basic dungeon in the OpenMW-CS (or trying to). I'm not new to modding tes3, only to the use of the OMW CS, and while I've succeeded in creating an interior cell, I've been totally unable to add any objects (statics) to the cell. I've opened a scene (blue screen) but can't drag/drop anything into it. I'm probably missing something unspeakably basic, but I'd really appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks in advance.

You're new, so when creating a topic you have to wait for approval. Anti-Spam, it should have told you that you needed to wait for it to be approved. :)

Yeah I missed the message telling me the first time, but not the second. If I knew how to retract topic creations, I'd have done so. Sorry for any trouble/confusion.

Do you know if I can use the most recent nightly build to create and run compatible with tes3mp? If so then my problem's likely solved, as soon as I find out how to install the nightly build over 0.44.0.

Using the most recent nightly-build has enabled me to drag/drop items into a cell, but trying to manipulate those objects in the scene window has left me with the most frustrated despair. Any time I attempt to move an object via rmb&drag (yes the object is selected with mmb first), it seems to teleport upwards before allowing movement. I have no idea how to explain this more clearly, and it's totally vexing me.

it should. nothing rastical in changelog as far as i can tell.

would advice installing to separate folders. settings stay the same.

that's the bug. used nghtly isn't yet updated to most recent or something went haywire installing on top.

ps. good writing style btw.
