OpenMW 0.44.0 Linux targz package RC1s:

32 Bit
64 Bit

I've changed my build machines from debian wheezy to centos 6 (older os but newer compiler thanks to devtoolsets!). Hopefully that move makes the packaged binaries compatible with even more (old) Linux distros.

There are also now nightly targz package builds available here: targz nightlies. I had to add some missing libraries to the RC builds so probably the current nightly is missing those as well. Should be fine in the next nightly build.

Hold your horses, again! We just got a fix for a pretty nasty crash bug. I am making the BDFL decision here that it is worth restarting the RC process over that. Stand by!

Back in the 0.42 release commentary video, we had an update on the version 1.0 goals.

Could we have an update on this in the 0.44 release video? Even if it's just "we're still working on Shadows and AI, but check out our News page for exciting developments on these".

I'll be home late tomorrow and able to build up some RCs by then, going to make sure to set up a RDP connection as well as I'll be in Berlin next week.
