Things are a little slow on the forums, but things are tanking away on the OSG port: https://github.com/scrawl/openmw/commits/osg
Re: them feels
I was thinking the same but seeing how much is happening out of sight does give a warm glow, not only Scrawl but the recent editor updates as well.raevol wrote:Things are a little slow on the forums,

I think that people are just "holding their breath" so to speak, playing current ogre based OpenMW withraevol wrote:Things are a little slow on the forums, but things are tanking away on the OSG port: https://github.com/scrawl/openmw/commits/osg
heavy mods is like pulling teeth. Even tho performance improvements have been made over time, the
ogre based OpenMW just isnt going to get where we need it to be, performance and resource wise.
Besides watching updates on how the development is coming along, in just a short time is encouraging.
And the long standing bugs solved and gains reported (even before terrain and serveral other important pieces are in place), would suggest that the move to OSG is going just as sucsessfull as the move from D to C++

The skinny NPC bug is finally fixed: https://github.com/scrawl/openmw/commit ... 126ad1d177
Or you could say NPC scaling based on weight is finally implemented.
Craziness.
