contribute information to wiki/mod status

Post by asmo »

Hello,
I'm using several MW mods that work perfectly with OpenMW. How/where can I contribute that information to the project?
E.g. to be shown here: https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Mod_status

Juste reate an account on the wiki (no need for validation of any kind)
And then modify the wiki page

Go to your UCP (User Control Panel), then select Usergroups, then select Wiki to add that membership. Then you'll have access to edit the wiki.

If you are not sure about editing the wiki, some people find it daunting you can PM the details to me and I will add them in your name.

Perfect, thanks.

Is there a place I can upload mods to? Some of the links contain RAR or even ACE archives. I converted those for myself but if other gamers (especially on linux) can not...

Linux users can open rar and ace files without problems.

OpenMW doesn't host mods.

Okay true, by using a VM with windows?
But Linux users that refuse using non-OSS can't. ;)

I think there is a linux port of 7-zip, which can open various compressed file formats. I'm not on linux, so YMMV.

For OS X there is The Unarchiver, so OS X users are good to go as well.
