GSOC 2016

Post by ElderTroll »

I know this is ages away, but the main devs spend so much time getting new developers up to speed anyways, wouldn't it make sense to have someone to work who has the tangible commitments of their name attached to gsoc and a stipend? We have been in contact with Bethesda before. Why not just ask Bethesda if they are okay if we had a gsoc student work on our editor or the some component of the engine like pathfinding?

It would make more sense to have OSG apply than OpenMW as it's more likely to get accepted.

+1

OSG, OpenAL, SDL2 and even Ogre3D deserve love.

This sounds like we just went through a very messy break-up.

Is that not at least somewhat accurate? ;)
