Waiting for Open MW .32, then want to add Rebirth 2.8 mod
Waiting for Open MW .32, then want to add Rebirth 2.8 mod
How do I add the mod using Open CS? this is the only mod i want. i got the game working with .31 and the mod, but now it crashed. so this time i want to get it right.

You don't need OpenCS to add a mod. Just tick it in the launcher. If it still crashes in 0.32.0 then that might indicate either a bug in OpenMW (which you should report so we can fix it) or a variation in the data files that we haven't seen yet and that we may be able to adapt to (for which we also need a detailed report of the problem).

how do you tick it in the launcher?

Click the box left of the plugin's name on the data file page?
Re: Waiting for Open MW .32, then want to add Rebirth 2.8 mo
I assume you have actually installed the mod, if not then it will not be in the list to tick. See https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title ... stallation for how OpenMW is different to Morrowind.

How do i Install mods for mac? That wiki page doesn't take to account I don't have any program to open the cfg file.
Re: Waiting for Open MW .32, then want to add Rebirth 2.8 mo
Just copy the mod into the data directory. Exactly as you would do with vanilla MW. And the cfg file is just a plain text file.
Re: Waiting for Open MW .32, then want to add Rebirth 2.8 mo
where is the data directory? I don't know how I would add a mod normally with vanilla version since Im doing it from a mac.

The place where you installed MW to? Alternative you can put the files in the user data directory (better!).
According to our wiki on a mac you can find the user data directory at $HOME/Library/Preferences/openmw/data (you may need to create the data subdirectory first). Just copy the esp/esm files and any assorted resources directories (likes Meshes, Textures and such) in there and you should be good.

I'm not seeing the area for data...
Do I need to go show package contents? Resources?
