I will appreciate if someone with native English could check and correct following translation (it's a bit hard to translate SH writing style to English, but I tried to do my best):
Let's open terminal window, and let's go to the OpenMW directory. Run git pull, and now git log -- we'll see what our developers in the sweat of theirs brow coded. Oh, no! There are no commits this week! How is this possible? Does some cataclysm caught us? Does work on OpenMW was stopped?
Of course not, we just didn't managed to complete the work on any new feature this week, but this doesn't mean that we laze.
At first, and I think most important thing: for our Slavic brothers which are using Cyrillic alphabet -- Greye was working on improved support for characters from outside of UTF-8 character set (mostly the ones which aren't boring variations on Latin alphabet). This should improve and facilitate the fun of OpenMW not only for Russians, Ukrainians, and Belorussians, but also Asian nations -- perhaps, at the end, we manage to break away Japanese from playing in Final Fantasy?
Pvdk introduced displaying of OpenMW version in the launcher, but wait -- it's not only a version number but also a git hash. It's harder to get better accuracy. Even if someone will start complain about it - please bear in mind that for Linux users it's quite simple to get and compile OpenMW sources, but for Windows users this is a bit different. They're mostly using pre-compiled binaries (Ace's nightly builds) and probably they'll warmly welcome such version indicator.
How about Scrawl? Scrawl is commonly known for being the main point of each weekly news. This time he's focused on saving feature. As SirHerrbatka mentioned in the last weekly news, there's still lot of work to do in that feature, and it's good that Scrawl is working on this. It's hoped that OpenMW 0.29 version will be enriched with relatively complete functionality of loading and saving the state of the game.
OpenCS also growing - it'll be possible to clone records soon. Also, Graffy introduced significant changes to the file selection window of the game.
