Welcome to the community [poll]

Post by Zedd »

Hi everybody,
I've been only a member for about two weeks, and am part now of the PR-team. And although I've been part of the team for only the tiniest time period compared to most of the core members I've noticed a big leap in the amount of members that joined us in those two weeks.
Part of my task here is to raise awareness of the project and to optimize my work i would like to ask every member how they got in contact with this project.
I guess I'll start :).

I heard about this project through Ornitocopter, I am one of those guys that is very excited about the new MGSO release.

It has, but at this moment only moderators have ability to create polls in this sub-forum. Second thing, I think open answers for this poll would be more suitable.

61 views and only one response, is it too personal?

I'm not sure if it being personal is the issue, it's just really not that interesting.

I heard about it on Bethesda's forums.

Yea, plus alot of people lurk here and dont post which I find to be typical of many forums.

No idea where I first heard about this, maybe the official forums. It was quite some time ago.

I honestly don't remember either, it was back when nico was in charge and we just had a mailing list. I probably stumbled across it while researching OpDE: http://sourceforge.net/projects/opde/ which I think I discovered while researching GemRB: http://www.gemrb.org/wiki/doku.php?id=start which I think I discovered while researching BG1Tutu: http://www.pocketplane.net/mambo/index. ... &Itemid=98 which I think I just stumbled across at the gibberlings 3 forum: http://www.gibberlings3.net/

So maybe I do remember. :P

As I was weekly sweeping my tabs in Firefox (I have about 976 tabs opened ATM), I stumbled upon OpenMW blog tab. I have no idea how I found it for the first time..

So I kept checking the blog for updates on daily basis, after realizing news is posted once a week, I started reading the forums. Eventually I registered and started posting un-interesting posts like this one :)
