I made an Altmer and I used player->enableracemenu to change to a Breton. This seems to have worked for the most part, but in random chatter (i.e. those sentences NPCs say when you are around them) they still call me an Altmer.

I suspected my race was stored in some script variable, and yes, that's the case. The solution was to:

set pcrace to 2

Where 2 is the id number of Bretons.

I suppose we should update pcrace/pcsex automatically after closing race window. Feel free to create a bugreport.
