Re: How to play video?
I can play videos as explained above, but when the clip ends I am left with the movie player onscreen, system unresponsive. The only way out seems to be open a new login screen and kill the openmw process.
Re: How to play video?
Is there anything on the terminal you ran omwlauncher/openmw from? Boost 1.52 broken things pretty badly with thread behavior, which could prevent it from shutting down properly.Tinker wrote:I can play videos as explained above, but when the clip ends I am left with the movie player onscreen, system unresponsive. Re: How to play video?
The Arch install provides a desktop file so I have not been running it from a cli, but I am running boost 1.52.
Tried running in a terminal and got this error after killing openmw.
Looks as if boost 1.52 is the cause.
Just seen this is already noted in thread about ffmpeg on Arch.
