A really great feature would be animated doors. It' s a nice thing and if I am correct, it might be implemented in the same way as animated containers/herbalism.

...But doors are animated. Unless you're talking about door with cell transitions, in which case that's a lot more work than you might think. Or actor door-opening animations, which I imagine would be a pain when that includes anything from bar doors to regular doors to massive gates.

Probably he just means Oblivion-style doors:

I was thinking in the Cell to Cell animated door type like Skyrim.

Seeing as cell transition loading screens are practically non-existent, this can arguably be seen as merely a waste of the player's time.

I doubt that we need it - we have an interiors preloading, so transitions are almost instant, and an artifitial delay during cell transition will be boring.
An animated containers feature is a bit different - here we can play most of animation in the background.

It seems you are right.

The opening animation isn't supposed to hide loading, even if I can load the interior in one nanosecond I would still enjoy it. Otherwise my character is just staring at a closed door, then magically teleports inside? Doesn't make any sense. At least the short animation gives the illusion of you entering the cell.
