Finding a thunderstorm is easy.

Getting a screenshot of a thunder not so easy.

Re: Sky
Fired up MW, recorded a video of a thunderstorm and after watching it frame-by-frame I realised that there is no actual thunder rendered, they just brighten up the whole screen. Nice trick, since you don't notice how cheap that is because it goes so fast.

Re: Sky
That's funny. Oh well, someone later down the line can add actual lightning.
Re: Sky
I'm sure you've already thought of this, but if you're going to use Caelum or something, remember that the night sky textures used by Vanilla are lore friendly; they depict the actual constellations from the Elder Scrolls mythology.
So all I'm saying is don't make OpenMW randomly generate stars and constellations; instead make it use the night-time textures, which were listed earlier in this thread. The daytime skies as well as stormy night and day skies on the other hand are nothing special.

Re: Sky
The new sky is absolutely lovely.
Maybe we should consider moving this feature from 0.14.0 to 0.13.0. Even if we can't get the full weather implementation in, the new sky should be more than enough to stand out as a feature on its own.
