Do you have a stable build with only the third person crosshair?
My phone is 2gb ram with a quad core CPU. The fps is great actually better than the stable build in the market.

;_; I am slowly building my computer but haven't had one in years; just a phone. All the old data was corrupted. I managed to remove stuff like pics and videos but everything else is gone. Is there any way someone would be willing to offer the folder required for Android Play? I can prove I own the game! Building the computer is taking a while because I have old parts that still work and want to use them (the mobo fried, leaving me with a $1000 brick :< )

Because of how copyright law works in pretty much every civilised country, it's still illegal for someone to give you the files even if you can prove you own the game. We'll put ourselves at risk from Bethesda's lawyers if we don't try and stop you doing that.

I figured it out anyways
I am wondering how the android port uses mod files, tho. It doesn't seem to register them if they're inside a folder? Is that normal?
It would also be suuuuuper awesome if there was a way to turn off unwanted touch icons. I use a controller soi only need the Hamburger icon (to open the keyboard and F keys) but I have to leave all of the icons on in order to use it.

NM! Figured out how to "disappear" the other icons.
Still wondering about mods, tho. My config file is completely empty except for the introduction. Not sure if that's normal.

Here is new build.
I added head bobbing by stomy to this build, its this
https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/merge_requests/114
And particle scaling + option to disable per pixel lighting for particles
https://github.com/OpenMW/openmw/pull/2790
some new settings can be found under [camera] and [shaders], complete list here
https://github.com/Sisah2/openmw/blob/A ... efault.cfg
Also in archive is vtastek lighting shader 0.4, it now require this mod
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46124 (its also in this archive)

Please, could you briefly write (in a spoiler alert) new lines for the settings.cfg file of the last build (and do it for the future ones as well)?
What else should we know, despite the following:
-
Spoiler: Show
-
[Camera]
head bobbing = true
head bobbing roll = 1.0
head bobbing lateral sway = 1.0
head bobbing vertical bounce = 1.0
head landing bounce = 1.0
hand bobbing = true
hand bobbing lateral sway = 1.0
hand bobbing vertical bounce = 1.0
hand inertia = 1.0
bobbing peak amplitude speed = 256.0

Those setting was added from last time.

Spoiler: Show

[Camera]
# Switch shoulder automatically when player is close to an obstacle.
auto switch shoulder = true
# Slightly pulls camera away when the character moves. Works only in 'view over shoulder' mode. Set to 0 to disable.
zoom out when move coef = 20
# Controls whether head movement during normal walking is simulated in first-person view
# Does not affect third-person view, or any camera movement from being staggered or knocked over
# Turning on hand bobbing is also recommended when using this to match up animations better
head bobbing = false
head bobbing roll = 1.0
head bobbing lateral sway = 1.0
head bobbing vertical bounce = 1.0
# Causes camera to spring slightly when landing. Ignored if head bobbing is disabled
head landing bounce = 1.0
# Used to match hand movements to head bobbing above but can be used independently
hand bobbing = false
hand bobbing lateral sway = 1.0
hand bobbing vertical bounce = 1.0
# Causes hands to chase view direction slightly when turning instead of matching the camera perfectly
# Ignored if hand bobbing is disabled
hand inertia = 1.0
# This is the movement speed (see OpenMW research for movement speed equation) at which head and hand bobbing is at its greatest depth.
# Reduce to 128 or 192 to have bobbing weaken more at higher speeds, though even at default it is barely noticeable at setspeed 3000 or more.
bobbing peak amplitude speed = 256.0
[Shaders]
#Bright scaling by morrowind normals norm (0.5196)
particle scaling = false
# Improve fps in scenes with many particles
# No effect if force per pixel lighting = false
particle per pixel lighting = true
[Game]
# Makes player swim a bit upward (or downward in case of negative value) from the line of sight.
swim upward coef = 0.0
# Make the training skills proposed by a trainer based on its base attribute instead of its modified ones
trainers training skills based on base skill = false

I clean installed the latest build while starting from scratch with my mod setup. The result: definitely more stable than before.
I guess there were some mod conflicts causing problems in my previous install, somewhere.

Here is another build plus some shader changes.
New settings
-
Spoiler: Show

[Camera]
# Automatically enable preview mode when player doesn't move.
preview if stand still = false
# Rotate the character to the view direction after exiting preview mode.
deferred preview rotation = true
[Shaders]
# What to do with particles, scaling should make particles darker, per pixel lighting is slower
# 0 - disable shaders for particles
# 1 - per pixel lighting - scaling
# 2 - per pixel lighting + scaling
# 3 - vertex lighting - scaling
# 4 - vertex lighting + scaling
particle handling = 3
And this was removed
[Shaders]
#Bright scaling by morrowind normals norm (0.5196)
particle scaling = true
# Improve fps in scenes with many particles
# No effect if force per pixel lighting = false
particle per pixel lighting = false
