Yes, I'd like to test this save on vanilla Morrowind.

Thanks, I have no idea how to check it for errors.

Here it is. Straight in front of the murderer. Some time has passed as I did not have a save from when I broke into the warehouse.
Don't mind the weird missing animal soundfile error which I got after installing TAO .15. I have yet to meet that exact creature.
Also don't mind my character's absurd strength. Console FTW.

Strange. I've loaded the save and after some errors with missing things no enemy attacked me. But after creating a quicksave, restarting Morrowind and loading the quicksave the enemy showed itself.

First I tried to do what you did but I had no change from before.
Your save was really helpful though.
Now he attacked me too and I finally was able to finish this quest by killing him.

You have been very helpful.
