A chest with legs companion mod. The first time you activate it (key in hand) its OnActivate calls activate() to display its inventory - which does nothing in openMW (2019-Sep-11 nightly) for some reason. Subsequent times it has a greeting (it's defined as a creature) and you access it through the companion share feature which all works as it should. I worked around the initial activate failure by forcegreeting from the console.

It can't be talked with because it's knocked down due to negative fatigue (scripted). Not sure what should happen in this case.
I guess it should be possible to open the inventory of creatures when they are knocked down?

Shouldn't you go into their inventory (via pickpocket)? Seems like I remember that anyway.
