NPC Doubling on Mod Upgrade

Post by GameEnder »

Yesterday I saw that Tamriel Rebuilt 1612, and upgraded my current current install from 1609 Release. After doing so I found that every NPC in Tamriel Rebuilt has now got a clone. The only way I found to fix this is to make a Clean Save with out Tamriel Rebuilt, then read it. This also breaks all quest progress though...

Any suggestions on how to upgrade versions?

Idk how to address the issue. Someone should be by. Any chance you could film it?

Could a mod move this to the Mod Compatibility section please.

Whoa incredible! Do previous versions work normally? What happens if you start a new game and travel to the locations you're seeing clones?

Can you provide a savegame? Also, it could be helpful if you pick two duplicates (of the same type), run the 'ori' console command on them and post the results.

Here is what it looks like with a fresh save, and the ORI info you wanted.

It may be a possibility our save files are creating the double reference because of turning on and off the mod. We might not properly clean the save when you disable the mod.

The video was filmed from a save that was saved on TR 1609, then loaded with the new upgraded data files. There was no Doubling before the upgrade.
