Nostalgia

Post by Zedd » 23 Nov 2012, 11:19

So I bet all of you (around 98%) played games on their windows 95/98 in those golden years. Time to bring these memories up.
basically, if you shed manly tears or you nostalgia all over yourself you lose.

Well, since I have no idea what game that picture is from, I apparently have no childhood...

Have some more nostalgia

I don't know any of those games above... but I did grow up playing this with my friends in 'hotseat' style. It was enjoyable with 5~8 people over having chips & dip and doing other things.

AoE2... many many lan parties played only this. I loved sneaking behind the enemy by cutting a path through a forest with my trebuchet. They never saw it coming and counted the trees as natural defences, spending their time making a gauntlet of death in front while I come in the back door.

first one is Wacky Wheels, used to play it for hours with my brothers. I used to think (yesterday) the game was very popular :P.

@brotherbrick: I seem to share you techniques :), i only used to put 30 villagers on a forest, that's why i always wanted to be the green color so the others couldn't define my villagers from the forest  .

Loving the AoE 1/2. Speaking of, I'm super excited about 0 A.D.

Is this some kind of mod or pre-release screenshot? I don't recognize any of those units...
