Hello everyone

We are very proud to announce that the website GamingOnLinux has revealed OpenMW as the winner of their Game of the Year Awards in the Favourite FOSS game engine reimplementation category.

Competing against other respected and important projects like ScummVM and OpenRA, this means a lot, and we are very honoured. A BIG thank you to everyone who voted for OpenMW!

OpenRA is a very good and popular as well, so against such a competitor it is indeed quite a win.

Confused.

So first congrats on the win! Huge step.

BUT...

The game for me crashes when saving. I have found that the issue is with scenegraph 3.6 but on Manjaro builds 36 is the default and rolling it back kinda breaks some things.

So again congrats but even more if this can be fixed in the stable release.

Problem is a regression in OSG 3.6 releases. It will finally be fixed and be usable again around 3.6.5 do out soon-ish. For time being, tell Manjaro to hard pin the dependency on OSG 3.4
