Ok, I see what you mean. Well, clearly implementing this wouldn't be so trivial as envisioned.

This should be simple enough to check; a modded spell could do it. In the CS you can add the same effect more than once. In fact, in Uvirith's Legacy, there's a belt that has a constant effect to summon around 6 Skeletons. I'll go in game right now, console-add it, equip and check what happens!

EDIT: Okay, back! The belt only summons 1 Skeleton, despite having 7 copies of the "Summon Skeleton" effect. This may be a bug. I don't have access to a vanilla install at the moment, but my recollection is that in vanilla it did indeed summon 7 skeletons. Double-checking would be helpful, though. If anyone does have access to a vanilla install and wants to use Uvirith's Legacy's item as a shortcut to test this like I did, you can use the command "player->additem Uvi_belt_skeleton 1" to get it.

This certainly should be reported as a bug in the openmw. Other spell effects also should be checked.
