NPC's shouldn't ware what you sold them.

Post by Jyby »

I know this is vanilla morrowind stuff. But like alchemy and journal changes. I think it would be better to prevent NPCs from wearing the stuff they buy from you.

One they are a store, they are there to sell stuff.
Two how are you suppose to buy back if they are wearing it?
Three its just not practical for a feeble clothing store clerk to wear a 90 lb daedric_cuirass...

What do you think? It is vanilla which is valid and apart of the goal for version 1.

But is it good to keep? Does anyone have strong feelings about keeping it in the game?

I'd really like to see this fixed, it really killed immersion for me.

Also, I thought we already fixed it for some reason? Did it get un-fixed?

I wasn't aware.. Its not like a list of changes from vanilla morrowind is kept.

We should maintain a list of changes from vanilla morrowind.

Can't anyone verify raevol's claim?

I actually liked this 'feature'. It was always fun selling them matching sets of armor.

Sorry lol :P

Just what I've discovered in the original morrowind. I'm replaying the original game.

Really? It *improved* immersion for me. Gave me the feeling that I was in a dynamic world

I think this is a moddable situation, at least I hope it will be. It is a wierd situation that NPCs immediately wear things you sell them, resulting in more than one idea to sell a cursed item and wait until said NPC dies from a permanent -1 health enchantment on a helm (as an example).
