Paging pvdk... he has been asking for years to do things in Qt5 that isn't available in Qt4 but can't in order to keep compatibility with Qt4.

Also keep in mind that Qt4 is deprecated, so many developers can not test if their changes are compatible with Qt4.

It's probably best to continue discussion about dropping Qt 4 in
Time to drop support for Qt4?, rather than this person's developer application.
