Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
Generic Linux targz package RC3:
64 Bit
64 Bit
I've been a little busy recently but I probably can find some time to help out with that. I'm in #openmw on Matrix as "kfg" now so we can discuss things there.johnnyhostile wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:01Thanks for doing this K1ll, the build runs great on my Void Linux system. Our unreleased builds that are generated by CI, don't though ("wrong" OSG and other issues). Would you mind helping get the CI artifacts to where they can be more portable?

Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
@k1ll, thanks!
I just noticed that OSG used in the macOS RC3 does not include collada support. I'm working on that.
Make sure that your OSG is built using OSGoS 3.6 branch and that it 'found' collada and built with it.
Ace is doing the same with the windows builds now.

Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
Is RC3 going to include a multi-core support?
Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
OpenMW always had a multi-core support.
Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
Right, I'm talking about using
[Physics]
async num threads = 4
which requires the bullet (?) to be set up for multi-threaded? (Sorry if I don't fully understand this)

Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
If we're in charge of providing Bullet, we're providing it with multithreading enabled. That covers some platforms like Windows and MacOS. On other platforms, it's the packager's job to provide Bullet, and it's entirely up to them whether they enable it.
Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
But RC2 doesn't have it enabled on windows.AnyOldName3 wrote: ↑18 Jun 2021, 23:00 If we're in charge of providing Bullet, we're providing it with multithreading enabled. Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
I'm guessing he means 'when 0.47.0 goes full release'. Which is fine!

Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
As you may have noticed, other platforms are on RC3. RC3 for Windows will have multithreaded Bullet.
