Daily PPA seems to have gotten 0.43, but at least for me on Xubuntu 17.04 (yes I need to upgrade) it won't get the right dependencies without the release PPA being added as well.

If 17.04 is EOL'ed for us or if this is a thing that's hung up on the Debian side please ignore this, but for anyone like me who's having this issue, add the release PPA as well as the daily to get the upgrade.

17.04 will EoL January 2018 so I'm not bothering maintaining all those packages for something that only has a month left to go.

You're right however, if you want to use the dailies, then you'll need to also add the release PPA to get the dependencies.
