Anything related to PR, release planning and any other non-technical idea how to move the project forward should be discussed here.

Do it!
I would also like to contribute.
Could use a guide about what tools to use and what needs to be done.

before people get their hopes up... template is just that, a bare-bone template to build off of. It should only be enough to not cause OpenMW to crash. :)

OpenMW Example Suite will be the open-source ("CC-BY") game to show off OpenMW.

That's understandable.

However, still, how can we contribute to development of openmw-template and/or OpenMW example suite?

For example, how would I edit terrain of openmw-template, so that it would become possible to reach top of mountain without resorting to noclip command?

You're thinking in the territory of the OpenMW Example Suite. The answer is: you don't. One of the goals is to build a game using OpenMW-CS, which is currently not yet far enough to edit land. You can, however, start with the most important job - collecting and making assets. Check out this thread viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3246 and talk with JohnD. First we have to think about whether we want a generic MMO or a Yandere Simulator 2015 (I vote for the latter). Then start converting/making assets and once OpenMW-CS is functional enough (soon) you can start building the world.

Thanks DtD, planning and creating assets are the first step. Normally it would be story first, but honestly... we need "something" even if the art direction is a bit of a mish-mash. So you're basic sword & sorcery fair is OK. :)

The Template will be merged into the Example Suite project. It will still be something tangible that people can use, but it will be 'the core' of the example suite.

There is a new OpenMW-Template, 0.3.0, that everyone can download it here:
https://bugs.openmw.org/projects/examplesuite/files

New in this release:
* Added moon textures thanks to Tyddy.
* Added sky, space and weather textures thanks to hicks233.
* Updated dome nifs to be generic which resulted in less polygons.
* Updated `sMake` to `sMake Enchanted` to correct a bug found in openmw-cs (that was later corrected).
* Removed island.esp and use generated tesanwynn.esp world.

How do i run the Game Template?

I can create a new content list in the launcher ok but when choosing the game file it only gives me the option of morrowind.esm. Is there a way to have both games configured in the launcher, i am a little worried about running the installation wizard again and pointing it to the game template files as i don't want to wipe out my existing configuration, mods, saves etc... I'm not sure if the wizard will do this or not.
