Just to give a heads up, the conversation is still ongoing. I've been included in CC but Zini has done most of the groundwork in establishing what OpenMW is.

GStaffBethesda is Matt, we've verified this.

We've asked for more transparency from Matt so we can post our conversations on the forums, more out of politeness than confidentiality. We don't want to burn our contact with Bethesda and want to resolve any misunderstanding amicably.

Just for the record, we've not stopped development because of this.

Maybe when this whole things blows over, we can see about Matt doing an interview with Zini and others from OpenMW? :)

i'm all for the interview. I was trying to gather some good questions from TR guys but it turned into nothing.

I plan on doing at least a daily update here since this is fairly important.

So far, I've not heard anything more from GStaff.

This is pretty much the summation of GStaff's worries:

It worries them (I'm assuming Bethesda and himself) that OpenMW allows Morrowind to run on "Mobile Platforms", in this case Android.

There hasn't been an explanation as to why this is, but I guess we can all speculate.

We are asking for clarification on their side.

Maybe we'll have to make OpenMW only function with a keyboard and mouse or joystick attached with no touchscreen controls? Like on the Ouya or something.
