Commanding Humanoids

Post by Ebonair »

I've been bringing a lot of NPCs to my house with frenzy and command humanoid, and I've found some oddities.

Abelle Chriditte won't Frenzy. She just seems immune. I even tried casting weakness to magicka first. Successfully taunting her doesn't result in an attack either, even when her disposition is low. She is possibly the worst NPC to lure to your base, you have to use a level 25 command humanoid on her the whole way.

Thongar lost all his inventory when I commanded him out of his shop, but Nalcarya of White Haven didn't. As soon as she stepped out, she couldn't move because of all the inventory she was carrying. (I've been selling her a lot of potions.)

Command humanoid effects seems to accumulate. If you sit there casting a 6-second command humanoid on an NPC ten times, it will follow you for 60 seconds minus the time to cast the spells. Don't know if that's intentional.

I'm using the mods from I Heart Vanilla. https://modding-openmw.com/lists/i-heart-vanilla/

Abelle Chriditte is a Breton and therefore has 50% magic resistance. Pair that with her base fight of 30 and even a 100pt frenzy spell isn't particularly likely to get her to attack you. Taunting her works fine for me.

The items sold by Thongar are not on his person, they're in the containers in his store. Him losing his inventory that way is expected. NPCs not being able to move when over encumbered is also expected.

Command spells accumulating sounds like a bug, but I am unable to reproduce it using a nightly.
