OpenMW and Vortex mod manager
My preferred mod manager for Elder Scrolls games is Vortex, for the large selection it has and its convenience of use; but, are Vortex and OpenMW usable together, do they play nice, am I going to run into any particular issues?

Re: OpenMW and Vortex mod manager
I don't have a single positive thing to say about Vortex as it disagrees with me and never does anything slightly close to what I expect it to when I press a button, so I'm not able to recommend it. However, it should work as well with OpenMW as it works with anything else.
You'll miss out on certain OpenMW features that help with mod management, like our support for multiple data directories. To use those, you'll either need a mod manager designed for OpenMW (a few have threads on these forums) or Mod Organizer 2 with its OpenMW Export plugin.

Ah, fair enough, then. I'm not anticipating to use too many mods, so I'll probably just give OpenMW's own modding stuff a go; thanks!
